Last month, Lesley Watt sponsored the Art Jewelry Elements Component of the Month with these bronze snowflakes. I admit, I was horribly stumped for awhile as to what to do since the hole was in the middle of the piece. I eventually hatched a plan and went to work on it. After fiddling with it several times this is what I came up with...
I'm not done with it yet as I find the side with the suede cording doesn't hang the way I'd like so there will be one further adjustment this weekend.
I also had a sample of Woolywire from Starry Road Studio that I had been itching to try. I wrapped some of it around a small mandrel and formed two loops to make a fuzzy bead.
I also used my own porcelain and stoneware beads, brass chain and some additional lampwork beads from SueBeads. Once I make the last couple of changes I'll be able to wear this through the holiday season!
