I asked Lesley to surprise me and she sent me this cute brown nautilus with aqua speckles. It just so happens that I have an aqua glaze that goes with it so I pulled a few of my speckled stoneware beads. I also used some of the brown czech glass I bought last month in Florida.
After playing around with the clasp for a bit, I decided I wanted to use it as a focal instead. I had to figure out how to make it sit right and so I came up with this...
I attached two large jump rings to the loop and then knotted the waxed linen directly to them.
I included a few brass-toned czech glass beads as dangles and finished the bracelet with a Vintaj lobster claw clasp.
I loved working with Lesley's ceramic nautilus and I'm very happy with the end result. This is a piece I'll wear regularly and stack it with other beaded bracelets!
