It's time to reveal what we created with the August Component of the Month. For the month of August, I provided each participant with one of my rustic stoneware coin pendants (Click here if you'd like to see how they are made).
I pulled mine apart once or twice before coming up with the final design (and after Lesley made some helpful suggestions). You can see the first incarnation of the necklace in the above photo.
I had a rusty-hued coin pendant to work with so I managed to find some great beads at Bead Fest Philly to go with it.
I decided to go with a longer necklace since sweater season will be here before you know it.
I'm quite pleased with the final results and I know I'll get a lot of wear out of this necklace all autumn and into the winter.
