wow. I sure hope you share what the finished piece looks like, because so far it is stunning in it's simplicity. that brass collar is something I have not seen before. Love how you incorporate old with new. I use reclaimed copper wire and roof flashing in my jewellery so up-cycling supplies is always a favourite aspect of jewellery making to me.
